Led by the impressive srocetaking of Michael Conway and John Mike Dooley, Kerry made little work of disposing of Mayo in this Christy Ring Cup tie.
Mayo, who went into the game with a number of notable absentees due to injuries, didnt have the strength and depth in their panel and were 0-6 to 0-0 down after ten minutes.

Dooley, who finished with 3-3, and Conway who accounted for 2-8 (5 frees) ran the show for Kerry and were the class apart in this contest. For Mayo however, Shane Morley, Stephen Coyne, Kevin Healy and Adrian Freeman tried hard throughout, but the result was never in doubt from the tenth minute on.

Mayo now face a relegation play-off to secure their position in the tier 2 Championship for 2006.
